It’s my personal project
Documenting You as You are for a full day, approx. 8-10 hours to be exact. Creating something more significant than a family portrait. During an A Day In The Life session you’ll go about your day as you normally do, and it is my job as the documentary photographer to observe and take pictures without prompts, posing or intervention. The result will be natural, real and honest photographs that allow you to travel back in time to that little slice of life.
This session is to capture YOUR unique story. YOUR current stage of life. The personality of each family members and their little quirks. Joy and laugh. Tantrums and tears. Your Saturday morning routine. Your favourite walk down the street. The favourite place for ice-creams. Preparing the lunch together. Playing the ball together. Completing a puzzle together. Getting a hair cut. Jumping on the trampoline. Washing the dog. Reading books to your littles before bedtime. Whatever is unique to you. This is your story and I want to capture it for you in a most beautiful way.
I currently do not have ‘Day in the life” sessions in my regular offer, I only do them as my personal project. If you think this is something that you would like to do with me you can apply and have a chance to take a part.
What will you receive?
- approx 8 hours complimentary session
- full day reportage in the form of slideshow and digital images (the images will be chosen and edited by me)
- a beautiful coffee table album 25x25cm (you cover the cost of CHF230) - this purchase is obligatory (I believe you have to have those printed images) and will be charged before the session takes place as a retainer, no other charges apply
What will I need from you?
- active participation of all members of the family - it is your story and I need you all on the images
- your trust and acceptance of my presence - to allow me to show your honest story however we will establish some rules that will protect your privacy
- model release for your images*
How to apply?
You can apply clicking on below button. Please note that application does not mean automatic acceptance. Due to time constrains (I run my business at the same time!) I will choose the families with different characteristics. Once you apply I will get back to you to have a chat after which you can still change your mind.
*I never share publicly images that are questionable in terms of nudity and which would make you feel uncomfortable
